The Story of an Einsamkeit (alternatively Einsamkeit or TSE for brevity) is a work in progress indie game built with RPG Maker VX Ace. This project was formerly a Yume Nikki Fangame before it started to have its own story, elements, mechanics etc. which separated it from being a fangame.

The story takes place in December 2001, an alternative reality from our's.

♦Synopsis♦

Harold Lenti is afflicted with narcolepsy and severe amnesia. The aforementioned ailments have made him forget how many concepts of life work.

One night, while asleep, he suddenly meets a little boy in his closet named Bill Above. Believed to be just a child, he claims that he can help Harold recover his memory. Harold didn’t expect that this deal would result in him getting pulled along in a grand journey that could change the course of his life…

♦ Harold Lenti - 19 years old ♦
 Male Protagonist

A young man who is having a pretty quiet life. He claims to be a loner who does his best to avoid getting involved in troubles, even if he knows the opposite will happen. He's also desesperate to recover his memories and would do anything to get them back.

Female Protagonist 

A young lady who is described to be very attractive by a lot of people, but also a figure of jealousy to some other women around her age. She externally looks serious and cold, but in the inside, she's mushy and acts like a princess.

Female Deuteragonist

Also known as "Jubbie", a surname made by herself. She's a tall, plus-sized woman who has a boyish quirky behavior which Harold seems to be very close with. She always brings help and motivation to her friends whenever they need it.
